Super Smart Cutout

Remove backgrounds from sprites, VFX, icons, and UI while preserving edge detail.

Super Smart Cutout runs locally in the browser. Upload an image, choose a matting mode, compare the result, then export a transparent PNG or alpha mask.

Standard workflow

1. Upload a PNG, JPG, or WebP within the size and pixel limits shown on the page.

2. Pick Auto, Effects, or Subject mode. Switching modes re-runs matting for the current image.

3. Wait for the progress overlay, then drag the compare slider and change the preview background to inspect edges.

4. Export a transparent PNG, alpha mask PNG, or composited PNG when a solid preview background is selected.

5. Use Replace to start over with another source image.
